Poonawalla Fincorp Limited (PFL), an NBFC promoted by the Cyrus Poonawalla Group, has partnered with IDP Education, a leader in international student placement, to offer instant, end-to-end digital education loans for Indian students. This initiative addresses one of the biggest hurdles in overseas education: timely access to funding.

Faster Loan Approvals Through IDP’s Network

Now, students applying through IDP can benefit from Poonawalla Fincorp’s education loans to cover everything from tuition and airfare to accommodation. The process is digital, efficient, and tailored for urgent timelines.

IDP, which places over 100,000 Indian students annually in premier institutions worldwide, will offer these loans via its 77 offices and online portal, making PFL the exclusive financing partner in its ecosystem.

Fueling India’s Global Education Journey

Speaking on the partnership, Vikas Pandey, Chief Business Officer of PFL noted, “India’s academic ambition is growing fast, and it’s our job to ensure the financial systems supporting it are equally dynamic. This partnership marks a step forward in building that infrastructure.”

Piyush Kumar, Regional Director of IDP shared, “Students today demand clarity and speed when it comes to financing their studies. With PFL, we’re giving them exactly that — no red tape, just real solutions.”

Making Education Financing Student-Centric

IDP’s survey shows that 66% of students find cost the most difficult aspect of studying abroad. By combining PFL’s digital loan services with IDP’s student outreach, the two are making global education more accessible and less stressful for Indian families.

With access to 800+ international institutions, this partnership isn’t just about loans — it’s about unlocking possibilities for the next generation of global citizens.
